Why my songs name change automatically on the pc when i play them on media player ?

when i open my music file and choose few songs i click in the folder on (play all) to hear them, i start see that they automatically change them names to the old name. how to stop that ? i want to rename my songs one time only not every time i hear each song.Why my songs name change automatically on the pc when i play them on media player ?its the way you have it saved. if you click rename song and you type in what ever you want to rename it as. when it changes to another song that you renamed and you go to listen to the list sometimes it might not be in order because of the name of the song. they will prolly be mixed up
