How do i change the file name?

I want to put a song from my itunes onto windows movie maker.. but it keeps saying that %26quot;the file could not be imported. The selected file is not valid or is corrupted.%26quot;

what do i have to do in order to change it so that i can upload it??

Open iTunes and open the Preferences for iTunes, and then, under %26quot;General,%26quot; change the Import Settings to %26quot;WAV encoder,%26quot; and then close the Preferences.



Select the song in iTunes and go into the Advanced menu and select %26quot;Create WAV Version.%26quot;



It should only take a minute or so, and when you've got the WAV version in iTunes, use the %26quot;Reveal File%26quot; command, or whatever it's called, to pull up that WAV file in Windows itself, and then see if you can load that WAV file into Movie Maker.



I'm reasonably certain this will work.How do i change the file name?You have to use a file extension in which windows supports.

You could always upload your file to some online converter such as media convert.

and either select wmv or in audio wma.The online converter usually auto detects the file you upload.
