How do I file a name change order for a child born in VA but now resides in TX?

My daughter was born in VA but we've been living in TX for over 5 years. She has my lst name and now we wish to change to her dads. Having difficulty.How do I file a name change order for a child born in VA but now resides in TX?If the legal father agrees, it should be a simple process to change her name. You file the paperwork in the county seat of the county where the child lives.
