Changing file names from .MOD to .mpg ??!! I REALLY NEED HELP!!?

how do you change video file names from .mod to .mpg??



i tried to rename a file named %26quot;snakes.MOD%26quot; to %26quot;snakes.mpg%26quot; but when i right click on the file and clicked %26quot;Properties%26quot; and it said %26quot;Opens with: Windows Media Maker%26quot; and clicked the %26quot;Change%26quot; button then it said %26quot;File: snakes.MOD%26quot;..... How Do you change it so it's an MPG file or a file that will allow it to go on Windows Movie Maker???!!!!



I'm so annoyed right now that i cant import videos on Windows Movie Maker!!
