In winXP how to change extension name of a file?

To do this, open My Computer %26amp; go to the Tools Menu %26amp; then click Folder Options, in the dialog box change to the View tab %26amp; look for Hide extensions for known files %26amp; uncheck it %26amp; click OK.In winXP how to change extension name of a file?You can rename a file using Windows Explorer, right click the file %26gt;rename
